柔和的舌头可以折断骨头，恒久忍耐可以劝动君王。
回答柔和，使怒消退；智慧的口，出产恩言。
寡少言语的，有知识；性情温良的，有聪明。
多言多语，难免有过；禁止嘴唇，是有智慧。
谨守训言，必得好处；敬畏诫命，必得善报。
人心忧虑，曲而不伸，一句良言，使心欢乐。
传舌人的言语如同美食深入人的心腹；不可听了教训而又偏离知识的言语。
智慧的舌头为医人的良药；温良的舌头乃是生命树。
