Commanders Of Thousands, Hundreds And Fifties Are Not Coming From God
Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who were asking him for a king. He said, “This is what the king who will reign over you will claim as his rights: He will take your sons and make them serve with his chariots and horses, and they will run in front of his chariots. Some he will assign to be commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and others to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and still others to make weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. (1 Samuel 8:10-12 NIV)
1 God is not pleasing with the selection of commanders of thousands, commanders of fifties
2 Commanders of thousands, commanders of fifties are suggested by Jethro, priest Midian who is worshipping idles. kindly check exodus 18.1-27
3 Jethro came from Midian and finally came back to Midian. He did not enter land of canaan. The one coming from world and will come back to world. God commands israle people not to follow customs of idols who God would like to drive out.
You must not live according to the customs of the nations I am going to drive out before you. Because they did all these things, I abhorred them. (Leviticus 20:23 NIV)
4 Midian people are not pleasing God. Midian people oppressing israel people. God told israel people to keep from Midian people.(Judges 3.11 and Exodus 31.7)
5 God put the power of Holy Spirit on 70 elders selected by Him, but God never put power of Holy Spirit on these commanders of thousands, commanders of hundres, commanders of fifties who were selected by Moses.( Numbers 11.16-26)
God told Moses to command rock to have water , but Moses knocked rock for two times to have water
6 Give back to Caesar what is Caesar's. Commanders of thousands，commanders of hundreds, commanders of fifties belong to Caesar; Give back to God what is God's. Apostle, prophet, teacher, pastor, envangelist, elder, overseer, deacon. All these belong to God.
